How I got into this profession.
In college a suffered a serious knee injury during TaeKwonDo in which the Doctor thought that my kneecap was shattered. Miraculously (and to the Doctor’s surprise) it was not fractured. It was however, severely bruised and traumatized. Unable to walk, my Aunty suggested I see a Chiropractor. I was baffled as she was a Physical Therapist, but yet wanted me to see someone else for my knee. It was meant to be! After just one visit, I was able to walk and the pain was much decreased! Immediately, I wanted to know more and how I could get into such a profession that helps people without medicine or surgery! Now I aspire to help others with their injuries and issues just as I was helped!
Philosophy
My chiropractic philosophy is focusing on source rather than symptoms. Getting to the root cause of one’s problems enables the body to heal faster, better and return to a state of balance. Anyone can put a band-aid on a boo-boo but only a true detective can get to the root cause.
